Question by the faerie: Selling my classic car, questions about registration and insurance?
I am a the owner of the car and I live in southern california.
My car was in storage and I am having it towed to a car shop. Currently it is not registered or insured. Since I dont plan on driving it other then driving it home and having people test drive it, how do I register it since i plan to sell it quickly? Should I wait to register it under the new owner’s name once I sell it? Or do I have to register it under my name no matter what and change the owner name after I sell it? How does that work?
Also, am I the one who should insure it for the new owner? I know that when you buy a car at a dealership they usually give you a few days of insurance. Do I have to provide this service to the buyer or is that something they have to cover themselves?

I’m not acquainted with Cali. registration laws. Though I’ve heard through the grapevine that the car needs to be registered to be sold. Call your Dept. of Motor Vehicles to figure it out.
As for the insurance, let the buyer deal with it. As soon as you give him the title and bill of sale, it’s no longer your responsibility. Though it may be necessary if you are letting people take it on test drives before the sale.

concern is that if they broken it , that it would not be covered as the valet isnt on the contract to be able to drive it. I would picture the valet firm has insurance for this kind of things? would my insurance coverage that normally covers rental automobiles as well spend even if valet is not on contract? how about the credit card insurance coverage?

It depends on if you spend added at the automobile rental organization in order for other drivers, aside from yourself, to be able to drive the auto (certification in a way). This is a liability issue at organizations such as Hertz, only so their buyers are able to acquire the lowest achievable rate. I would not be also worried about it, unless of course the valet drivers did perhaps injury the vehicle.

I have a 1969 VW Beetle and need cheapish insurance. Very few insurers will cover a car that old unless it is a “classic”, but as this means it can only really be driven to shows and whatnot, it won’t work for me. This is my daily driver. Thanks in advance.

I have never had a problem getting insurance for old cars at Allstate. But when insuring something this old that was a daily driver, I never insured it for any damage to the car. Collision and medical only, no comprehensive.

Question by i: make up that covers dark cars??
OK so about 8 months ago i used this acne product to clear my mild acne but instead I got a horrible bacteria that pretty much destroyed my skin along with my life..the dermatologist that is treating me is a lifesaver..i no longer breakout and the infection is now gone..ironically i have clear skin but i have a lot of scars do to the infection and I have a lot of redness and some dark spots..i use mary kay foundation which i like very much but the foundation and powder goes away throughout the day and i need something that will last long and covers much better..I also used dermablend but didnt like it because it is way too heavy and i have oily skin and made it look worse..i hear about bare minerals but im not sure if it will work for me because i know it will not completely cover my scars but i wonder if i use it with the foundation will it cover better? or what do u guys suggest? I know that no make up in the world will cover my scars 100% but i do want improvement and a good make u
